Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer
This page is a starting point, not finished legal copy. Before publishing it live, fill in every [bracketed]placeholder with Glidance's ABN, contact details, and governing jurisdiction, and have it reviewed by a solicitor — particularly given the site touches real financial decisions (RAD/DAP, care fees) for a vulnerable population.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Glidance (ABN [ABN]) (“we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these terms.
2. What the site does
Glidance is an independent, informational directory that helps people compare residential aged care, home care, and respite providers in Australia by location, published pricing, and quality ratings. It is not a booking, referral, or placement service, and we do not charge providers or users a fee to appear in or use the directory.
3. Not affiliated with government services
Glidance is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Government, My Aged Care, or the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Where we reference official data — such as Star Ratings or the Provider Register — it is sourced from publicly available government open data, cited as such, and kept separate from information published by providers themselves.
4. No advice, and accuracy isn't guaranteed
Nothing on this site is financial, legal, medical, or aged-care advice. Pricing, availability, services, and ratings are drawn from providers' own websites and public government sources at a point in time and may be out of date, incomplete, or since changed. Always confirm current rates, vacancies, and details directly with the provider before making any decision.
5. Reporting a problem
If you spot something that looks wrong on a listing, you can flag it using the “Report it” link on that provider's page. We review reports but can't guarantee a timeframe for corrections.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, code, and original text are owned by Glidance. Provider names, logos, and descriptions belong to their respective owners.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on this site, including outdated or inaccurate provider information. This does not exclude any guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State/Territory], Australia.
10. Contact
